Much Thanks

To everyone who showed up to my party last night, thank you. I’m really sorry about the Irish pub turned dance club on Fridays. I did not know about the cover. Every time I’ve been there, there was only a cover for the upstairs and the first floor was definitely not a dance-floor.

Also, thank you to all who came out to McGee’s Friday and wished me a happy birthday.

More thanks to everyone who left me messages.

Thank you all. I had a great time and hope you all enjoyed yourself as well.

After I found out that I dont need the Nike shoes to use it, I ordered my Nike+iPod Sports kit.  Its really neat.  Its a sensor in my shoe that records speed, distance, time, calories  and send it wirelessly to my ipod.  The ipod records it all and if I want, it will tell me  when i reach a mile/time/calorie goal etc.

Craziness

So there was a double homicide by my house this weekend.  Its crazy, I pass this house everyday.  Its all taped off with yellow caution tape and there is always at least 1 cop car in the driveway.  Today while driving past, I noticed a detective and some cops walking over the lawns of the neighbors.  They looked to be searching for evidence or clues to the suspect.  You can read the story here:  New Baltimore couple found stabbed.

In other news, I sent in my app and called my old boss to let her know.  It looks like I’ll be back at Hollywood soon.  I’ve been hesitant, but I think it could work out.  I’ll be back with some seniority. I said right away my terms and Barb seemed okay with them.  I want no more than 20 hours a week, only one weekend day and I plan to be back at GDLS in May.  Plus free rentals are always a bonus.

Saturday was party day

Saturday was Kyra’s 1st birthday.  Meagan hosted a party for her and her daughter who also turned 1 that week.  She did an amazing job.  Lots of decorations, snacks, pizza, crafts, and much more.  They rented a Care Bear costume for the kids to have pictures with Love-a-lot Bear.  I was supposed to be the one who wore it, but the costume was for a giant.  I’ll have pictures on Flickr soon (I say that a lot without doing it).

After the kids’ party was the magarita party at Tammy and Keith’s.  The four of us and Lisa went through 2 fifths of tequilla, a jug of rum island ice tea, and a good amount of other various alcohols.  Rob coincidentally lives in the same complex, so he walked over to visit.

And lets not forget that the Tiger’s took out the Yankees that day, making it an all-around very good day.
