Its the weekend.
Thursday, August 17th, 2006I cannot be happier that today is the last day of the workweek. My workload has eased up, so days have seemed longer.
But its a great week none-the-less.
First off, I got a message stating I had won the scholarship contest. It threw me completely off, because I wasn’t very confident in my essay. Today there is a small ceremony for me and the other recipients (5 of us out of about 50 interns).
After that, Lauren, her dad and I are going to the Tigers game. No work tomorrow, so no worries for me. I just need to remember to register for my final 2 classes.
Its a nice schedule, but I wish I could have taken more. I have 13 credits, but the only classes available are 4 more credits and on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It would be my only course on those days and I’d rather try and find a job for those days off. So 13 credits it is and luckily, no class earlier than noon. I miss being able to sleep past 6.
Okay almost time to go meet the company executives. Its going to be awkward.
