Everything is Breaking
Monday, September 26th, 2005So many things are not going right. First off, my cell phone will not get any reception, at all.
Next, my starter went bad. I had it replaced Saturday and later that night while 30 minutes from home, the car wouldn’t start. The battery was dead (18 month warranty — too bad its been about 24). I got a jump and took it home. Hooked up the battery charger to it and let it charge for a day and a half.
This morning I was to take it to the place where the starter was replaced and then to Pep Boys. The battery isnt holding a charge. My dad says to go to storage and take the boat battery. I get the boat batteryand come back home. When I go to unhook the car battery, I notice the bolt to tighten the wire to the neg. terminal is cracked. Mom says to forget it and wait for dad. I pull the truck out of the way so Mom can get out of the driveway. Thats when I see the boat battery in the street, on its side, cracked, leaking acid.
In conclusion, I need to repair/replace:
- a cell phone
- a car battery
- a battery terminal hoop
- a boat battery
- possibly a starter
