Hoo Boy
It looks like I finally have some great news to share. I got a phone call today, but it wasn’t Detroit Axle. Out of the blue, General Dynamics called me. The man I talked to asked what my interests were in the field and then told me what his department does. He never mentioned an interview, rather he told me HR will be in contact with me shortly to discuss formalities and a start date. Apparently I have a new job! Goodbye Hollywood; maybe I’ll see you in the fall, but I hope not.
Last night after work I headed down to Snookers. A whole bunch of people were there; Lauren, Lisa, Brian, Shaun, Rob Laforest, Steve, and Jack. Freaking Rob Laforest, I havent seen him since Shaun lived in Wyandotte. Rob, Brian and I exchanged numbers, so we can get together over the summer.
Tonight I get to do inventory until 5 AM at Hollywood. I’m preparing for this one: a desk chair to wheel around in, my minidisc player, 5 hours of Journey on one disc and 4 hours of Ben Folds (Five) on another. Oh and I can’t forget two hours of Loveline from 1-3. Lets get it on.
