In the words of Marlene…

WAAAAHHOOOOO!!!

I got an A- in Physics! I don’t know how, but I don’t care. No more physics for me and that gives me an almost certain 3.0+ GPA this semester.

Also, I went and saw Evita last night. Wonderful job Brian, Andrea and the rest of the cast/crew. Theres only tonight and tomorrow left. Go see Evita.

Boo to work tonight, but yay for the possibility of a new job. I don’t know what I’ll do without my free rentals, though.

No more homework, no more books.
No more professors’ dirty looks.

Axle Alliance?

Friday, April 29th, 2005

Can someone out there give me some information on the company, Axle Alliance? I have an interview with them next Wednesday. Besides working on axles, I have no idea what this position entails.

In other news, I have one more final left. I just finished government (hopefully with a B) and I already took probability and stats, which seemed easy. All thats left is microeconomics, which I have 6 hours from now to study for. Wish me luck.

Physics: done.

Wednesday, April 27th, 2005

Well just finished the Physics final. Not happy. I don’t know what happened in there, but it wasn’t good. Next up is the Probability and Stats Final in about an hour.

Just let this be over with.

Final Week

Monday, April 25th, 2005

Just sitting in the computer lab, listening to The Pixies and waiting for my next class to start.

Had a pretty fun weekend. It was definately a work hard, party hard scenario. Friday was busy at work due to the rain. I managed to get out by 1:30, though. Straight from work I headed to Keith’s apartment, where Lauren was, for a small party. Saturday, I had work at 5. If I thought Friday was busy with the rain, Saturday was complete chaos with the snow. We doubled our average revenue of teh last few weeks. Since the weather has been so nice, we’ve had to cut back labor. So any other time we’ve made anything close to what we did that night, theres at least one other person working. We didn’t get out until 2:30.

Good news, though. I wasn’t scheduled for Sunday, which I always am. So instead, I got to eat with my family, then over to Lauren’s to eat with her’s. We played some Co-op SPCT. Then we spent the rest of the night at the bar for open mic night with the two Shauns and Matt S.

Today I woke up too late to shower, so I’m bumming it today. It doesn’t matter; Im only here for about ninety more minutes. Stats decided to not have class today. Determined to stay awake through the two hours of the economics review, I bought an Eye Opener (coffee with a shot of espresso). Despite drinking it all, I still managed to doze off. Luckily, I’ll no longer have to sit in that class again. I think out of the whole semester, only once I stayed awake the whole two hours. Oh well. As long as I comeout of this semester with a cumulative of 3.00+, I’ll be satisfied.

And finally…
Adam: we may have a project. It has huge potential. Between the two of us and some soon-to-be-named content providers (hint: The Reverend), we can build a powerful site.

Fruit Punch

Friday, April 22nd, 2005

So, while at the student center (which I try to avoid at all costs) a man approached me. I believe he wanted money, but he was so cracked out that he didn’t ask. Instead he complained to me. As an opener, he asked me if I was white. Before I could even take in such a question he hits me with another. He asks me why I dress so bad or something to that extent. My headphones were on and the player was on hold. Now, granted I’m not dressed in my best. I was in a hurry and just threw on my Orbital t-shirt, but for this man to approach me, who is wearing a hankerchief around his neck like a dog in the Westminster, is just silly. He then moves on to say that he “lived in a machine then it blew up.” He repeated that one a few times, then went on to talk about fruit punch. I’m not sure exactly what was going on but soon after, he left me alone to go get a drink (I’m guessing fruit punch).
He never did ask for money. I guess his mind was set on other things.

Summer Approacheth

Wednesday, April 20th, 2005

A week from Friday is the last of my exams. Finally, the semester will come to an end. Some things I’m looking forward to:

  • more hours at work (well, the money that comes from it)
  • getting into shape, or a least a shape that doesn’t resemble Jabba the Hut.
  • Possibly a better job at GD. I just got notice today that they are still hiring Summer interns. Better yet, they’re accepting non-official transcripts for the hiring process (wayne is horrible at sending transcripts. Im still waiting for mine from last year. ).
  • More time to see Lauren
  • More time to see Brian
  • Just more time, in general
  • OH and the new HP book!!!

Anyone annoyed by the fact that my posts are always in list form?

Weekend, Weekend Warrior

Friday, April 15th, 2005

Well Despite getting a C on my physics exam, I’ve had a really good day.

  • I found great parking
  • I paid attention
  • I took a quiz with ease
  • I got home before 5

I started to work on the new design of Less-Sober, and after a few days of frustration, its starting to resemble what I planned for.

I just hope work doesn’t ruin my day.

Excuse me for all the sentences starting with “I.”

OH
P.S. to Karl
I finally got my disposable camera developed from your wedding. I’ll scan some in when I get a chance.

Well despite my prayers, Wednesday Arrived.

Wednesday, April 13th, 2005

OK.

Physics homework: done
Flaws and Fallacies report: done
Studied for Physics exam: well as much as I could (which wasn’t much). The exam is in less than 2 hours.

My room is in shambles. Papers, books, newspapers, caffinated products…they’re scattered everywhere.
Alright, time to get to class.

Lets get it on.

Can’t Wait Anymore. I’ve Waited Too Long.

In two weeks, after years of waiting; I will finally get to see all that I’ve read, except Mos Def will be in it.

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
