Parallel Johnny

I won’t lie. It wasn’t the greatest time I ever had. Chicago was fun, but its not my kinda town to loosly quote Frankie. I did have a good time, however.

We went shopping down Chicago Ave., ate at a bunch of great restaurants, and visited a few bars. Thursday was all shopping until about 5, when we went to Sara’s work to get our hair done. Afterwards, we went to see her boyfriend’s band play. Friday we went out to eat at Ed Debevic’s then hit the Navy Pier and a nature museum. Afterwards, we got ourselves some dinner and headed to the bars. Saturday after we left Chi-town, We visited Chrissy Wo in K-Zoo and grabbed some lunch before heading home. Okay I’m in Chicago, but not for long. Its been an alright time. I have some pictures to share once I’m back home, however, were not going home yet. There’s still lunch with Chrissy in K-Zoo, then there’s (more)Pizza, (more) beer and a movie night at Adam and Mir’s.

I’m off to Chicago in less than 6 hours. I still need to do laundry, pack and shop. I really shouldn’t be sitting at the computer working on the site. At least its operational now and people can see what looks to be a finished product.

But back to Chicago…
Brian, Lauren and I are going down to Chicago. We leave tonight and return Saturday night. I’m going to packy my camera and maybe I’ll remember to take pictures. I really want to see the parade, LG’s office, the green river and well everything to be exact. I don’t want to leave the downtown area.

Ok, enough of the digital world. I need to prepare.

Ok, I’ve decided to try and use Wordpress for the journal of this site. Yes, I have a livejournal that i can easily syndicate here instead, but I’d like to keep this journal separate from the other. The Livejournal will become friends only and this journal will be viewable to all. It kind of keeps my lives in order. Hopefully soon, the Live Press plugin will work for WP 1.5 and I will be able to synch all posts here to my Livejournal additionally.

With that said, I need to go and get ready for work.
